5. Prices, Payments & Billing
5.1. Pricing
All prices for courses, housing, transfers, and services are displayed in USD or MXN (depending on the user’s region).
Prices may change at any time but will not affect already confirmed reservations.
5.2. Payment Processing
We use secure third-party payment processors.
We do not store credit card details.
5.3. Taxes & Fees
Some services may include additional taxes or processing fees.
These will be displayed at checkout.
6. Cancellations & Refunds
6.1. Courses
Refund eligibility depends on the type of course purchased:
- Intensive or on-site programs:
Refunds available if cancellation is requested 14 days before the start date.
After that, tuition is non-refundable. - Online courses or digital products:
Non-refundable once access has been granted. - Private lessons:
Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance.
Missed sessions are non-refundable.
6.2. Housing
Housing deposits or payments may be partially refundable depending on:
- Contract with the housing partner
- Cancellation timeframe
- Seasonal availability
Specific policies will be communicated during the booking process.
6.3. Airport Transfers
Cancellations must be requested at least 48 hours before arrival to receive a refund.
Late cancellations may incur charges.
6.4. Exceptions
Refund exceptions may be made in cases of:
- Medical emergencies
- Flight cancellations
- Force majeure events
Proof may be required.
7. Housing Terms
When booking accommodation through Malinche:
- You agree to respect the house rules of the host or property owner
- You are responsible for any damages caused during your stay
- Payments and refunds follow each property’s conditions
- Malinche acts as an intermediary between students and housing partners
We ensure all partners meet our safety and quality standards.
8. Student Conduct
Students are expected to:
- Behave respectfully toward staff, teachers, hosts, and other students
- Respect cultural norms in Orizaba
- Avoid illegal activities
- Treat housing and school property with care
Malinche reserves the right to remove any student from programs or housing if behavior compromises safety, respect, or community wellbeing.
Refunds will not be provided in these cases.
9. User Accounts
When creating an account on our LMS:
- You must provide accurate information
- You are responsible for keeping your login details secure
- You must not share your account with others
We may suspend accounts for inactivity, misuse, or security reasons.
10. Intellectual Property
All content related to:
- Courses
- Website materials
- Branding and design
- Images
- Text
- Methodology (Inside–Outside Method™)
- Videos, audio, and downloadable materials
is protected under copyright.
Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.
11. Limitation of Liability
Malinche is not liable for:
- Losses resulting from misuse of the platform
- Personal items lost or stolen during your stay
- Travel issues, delays, or cancellations
- Injuries during independent activities outside our official programs
- Damages caused by technical interruptions

12. Travel & Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing:
- Travel insurance
- Health insurance
- Trip cancellation coverage
Malinche does not provide medical insurance or financial compensation for travel disruptions.

- Prices
- Platform functionality
Students will be notified of significant changes.
